Turns out that this Saturday the Brazilian Presidential election will be held. Normally this would be a non-event for me, living in Australlia and all, but it turns out that during my last passport renewal I signed myself into the electoral roll as well. So now I have exactly two days to figure out what the hell is going in Brazilian politics (aside from the front-runner for the job being a woman and their government buildings being really really cool-looking) and get over the fact that I have to go through the shit of an election again, only this time I have to do it in the 18th floor of some office block with a bunch of international uni students and 40-something Brazilian small business owners who don’t know how to let go.
